A Christmas Carol Seymour Hicks plays the title role of Scrooge in the first sound version of the Dickens classic about the miser who's visited by three ghosts on Christmas Eve. Gone With The Wind

Hercules (1958) Le fatiche di Ercole This is the granddaddy of them all! The origin of all those "Sword and Sandal" epics that showed up weekly on television during my mis-spent teen-aged years. And, of course, it paved the way for contemporary stars like Arnold Schwarzeneggerm Kevin Sorbo, and Lucy Lawless.

The Tramp Chaplin’s principal character, and one of the screen’s most famous icons, is the Tramp. The Last of The Mohicans 1920 Seeing a young Wallace Beery prancing around as Mauga the Indian is worth the download itself.

night at the museumNight at the museum Midnight Manhunt (1945) William C.Thomas Run time: 1:03

An exciting mystery-comedy, with Leo Gorcey at his best. It's in good old black and white, increasing the intensity of each scene. A movie to be treasured.

fritz lang M eine stadtfritz lang M eine stadt After seeing this, all I can think is "wow." I'll say it again. "WOW!" Impeccably directed by Fritz Lang, and starring a young and plump Peter Lorre, M is perhaps the single greatest film I have ever seen. Lang created two film genres with this one film: Film-Noir, and the Crime/Psychological Thriller. The origins of Film-Noir can clearly be seen in this, as are the remaining traces of German Expressionism, brought about by the director that helped pioneer both movements.

Flash Gordon part 1 & Flash Gordon part 2 Filmed in 1940 this adventure film is premonitory, speaking about the concentration camps and experimentation with people.

He is fired and ends up doing singing commercials on the radio.

Reefer madness. 1936, 68 min. Considered THE archetypal sensationalized anti-drug movie, but it's really an exploitation film made to capitalize on the hot taboo subject of marijuana use. Like many exploitation films of the time, "Reefer Madness" tried to make a quick buck off of a forbidden subject while skirting the Motion Picture Production Code of 1930. The Code forbade the portrayal of immoral acts like drug use. (The illegal drug traffic must not be portrayed in such a way as to stimulate curiosity concerning the use of, or traffic in, such drugs; nor shall scenes be approved which show the use of illegal drugs, or their effects, in detail.)
